Fredrik Meyer
Fredrik was born 13 April 1996 in Tønsberg, Norway, where he lived the first months of his life. In 1996 the family moved to Miami, but already the next year they moved again to Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia. Fredrik started in an English kindergarten when he was two years old and is now in grade 1 at Mont' Kiara International School in Malaysia. Fredrik loves sport and is active in football, tennis, swimming, karate and golf.
Inger Meyer
Inger was born 7 September 1966 in Porsgrunn, Norway. She grew up in Norway, but was also spent time in Africa where her father was working at that time. When Inger was seven the family moved to Malmö in Sweden where she lived until graduating from college in 1984. When she was 17 she moved to Toronto, Canada, and worked as au-pair for two years. She then got a job as croupier working for Carnival Cruise Lines from 1986 to 1988. After that she moved on to Norwegian Cruise Lines where she worked until 1992 and finished her career as Casino Manager. She met Morten onboard Starward in 1988 and they got married in 1994. Inger went back to school in Tønsberg, Norway, in 1993 and worked after that for Color Line as croupier and trainer. In 1996 the family moved to Miami and in 1997 to Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia where they are currently staying.
Morten Meyer
Morten was born 11 November 1965 in Tromsø, Norway. He grew up in Botnhamn in Northern Norway where he lived with his family until he was 15 years old. He then went to Tromsø and studied marine electrical engineering for five years, graduating as a Bachelor of Technology in 1986. After that Morten went to sea and joined the Royal Norwegian Navy as electrical engineer officer onboard the cost guard ship K/V Nordkapp in 1986. In 1987 he started working for Norwegian Cruise Line where he met Inger onboard Starward in 1988. In 1991 Morten moved on to Crystal Cruises where he was promoted Chief Electrical Engineer. Morten and Inger married in 1994 and moved to Tønsberg, Norway. In 1996 Morten got a job as Electrical Superintendent with Royal Caribbean Cruise Line and the family moved to Miami. In 1997 the family moved again, this time to Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia where Morten got a job as Director of Technical Operations with Star Cruises. Morten and his family has since stayed in Kuala Lumpur but go home to Scandinavia every summer for a nice and relaxing holiday.
